About Me
Welcome to Organizational Toast! I am your mostly organized friend Jill. Hey, I just want to be honest with you! I say mostly because with a full-time job, two kids and my passion project (this blog) I have my days. And I know I’m not alone: you’re here!
I’m always chatting with mom friends about the things we all need to get done on the day to day. Whether you’re a working mom, a stay at home mom, a work from home mom or any combination of these, we are all pulled in a million directions every single day. Some days we feel like we have it down while other days we are riding the hot mess express.
So what’s a girl to do? Get organized!
If you are looking for strategies and tools for managing your home, your finances, and your family you will find those here. I want to share with you the systems I have put into place in my day to day life that have helped me and my family become debt free, keep the clutter from consuming us, and keep our days running as smoothly as possible. What you will also find here is tons of grace.
Because being organized is not about perfection, it’s about setting yourself up for success.
My 9-5 revolves around research, the organization of information and the development of learning resources in order to provide people with the tools they need in order to be academically successful. While I like my day job, I wanted to be able to write about and share my research on topics that I know my friends and I need and want. So, I am finally taking those skills and translating them into more than just a 9-5. It’s become my passion.
And it just so happens my passion will give you resources that address the things we need to tackle on the daily: budgeting, time management, cooking, meal planning, maintaining a household, and keeping everything and everyone on track.
In each of these areas, I have applied the golden rule: K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Silly! You will not find things that are overly complicated and require a ton of money and resources. Only effective methods to help you achieve your goals!
So friend, I encourage you to read each post and know that while these strategies are tried and true by me, there is always some wiggle room. Make them your own. And don’t forget to share what worked!
Let’s do this!
