Sharing is caring!
Friends, I broke the cardinal rule of grocery shopping this week.
I went to the grocery store hungry.
Now, I didn’t go over budget but I definitely bought things I did not need *ahem* ice cream bars and brownies *ahem*.
I was still a couple dollars under my budget of $125 for our family of four, but just looking over my receipt and seeing my picture after I’ve had a good snack makes me cringe.
I share this only to let you know I am a real human. I make mistakes at the grocery store. And even with a meal plan and well planned out shopping list sometimes I make poor choices at the grocery store.
Luckily for me, I was still able to snag some money off using my Ibotta app. Even though the earnings at Aldi aren’t huge on the app, I’m still able to earn up to a couple dollars a week using the app. Combine that with Aldi’s good prices and my little mistakes don’t hurt as bad!
